Darice E. Goodwin began her passion for planning with simple soirees back in 1994 which eventually led her to open an event planning company on October 17, 2001.
She received her formal college education from Loyola Marymount University where she pursued a major in English and African American Studies and a minor in Business Administration. Later she obtained a Meeting and Event Planning Certificate from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Her education continues with monthly seminars hosted by MPISCC, ISES-LA, ABC-GLA, and AFWPI and annual industry conferences produced by Affordable Meetings, Agenda Magazine, BizBash, ISES-LA, Meetings Quest, and MPISCC, to name a few.
As the owner of a burgeoning company, she has graciously shared her experience and expertise in peer workshops as well as consulted with individuals seeking to develop their own event planning businesses.
Since its inception almost 10 years ago, Perfect Success Event Management & Production Company has evolved into a premiere full-service special events firm offering a high level of class, creativity, and commitment to each special event. The main focus of her company is reviving the lost art of superior customer service.
